The new Mustang is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine with 10-speed automatic transmission, which can produce 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Buyers opting for the Mustang GT can enjoy a 5.0-liter V-8 engine with a standard six-speed manual transmission, producing 480 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The Mustang GT can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, while the EcoBoost engine takes 4.5 seconds.

Technology
